The teens want good websites that offer music, videos, books and teen community. If they have to spend their times on these, it is important for them to find out how these sites could help them.
Music
By just using key words such as “website on music”, the teens can have immediate access to numerous sites, learn on issues involving music and the music industry, enter in contests and can enjoy free downloads. Participating in forums allow the teens to share their opinion, defend their pop stars and criticize others. Most often, the teens’ search for music websites depend on the kind of music they are most interested in.
Video
Everybody loves videos. The adults love videos that depict history, family life and legal issues. The kids love cartoons and fairy tales. And the teens just love anything. They want live concerts, mysteries, violence, sex, thrillers, and any video that their hands can get into. If these teens have all their time to listen to music, so with videos. They just shut their doors, stay at their rooms, and presto, they are in the worlds of make believe while crunching at those goodies.
Selecting the proper website on videos is very important. If these videos have advantages, so with their negative impacts. The teens see themselves as real heroes. If what he is seeing are violent videos where the actors punch their enemies, back to the real world, these teens may gain the compulsion to kick other teens who bar their ways. They are heroes, right?
Websites on sex videos have to be avoided. These videos create on teens the lust for actual sex. Premarital sex on teens just seem a normal expression of themselves, they can have sex anytime they want. ‘Fuck you’ is just a mere accepted expression. Anyway, abortive pills and condoms are just across the counter. Morality can just easily be flagged down.
Books
Some teens want to read books and information can be accessed online. Book reading is a very good recreational tool because it helps the teens develop the love in reading, increases their vocabulary and use of works, makes them creative and those fictional characters could influence them to excel in whatever gigs they are to. Just ensure that these teens are not spending much money on books and know the best time to read. Being books worms consume much time that can be devoted to other necessary activities.
Community
Teens want to belong to a community where they can interact with other teens. Teen communities can be accessed just on line. They can make friends from around the globe, share their experiences, argue and discuss on issues. Some teen communities however do not allow the sharing of photos, videos and contact numbers. If the teens want more than an online teen community can offer, then they may participate in teen communities that afford live interaction. There they can mingle with other teens, learn tradecraft, attend lectures with the in-house guidance counselors, and to top it all, join youth camps, tours and environmental awareness programs such as tree planting. Just use the proper key words such as ‘local teen community’.
The teens want music, videos, book reading and teen communities. Although there are a good number of websites that discusses issues on these, it can not replace the best forum which is the family. The parents must spend more time with their teens and have an open discussion on subjects that the teens want. Having no time to monitor their teens might bring repercussions that they will regret later.

Blake Christina Lively, a favorite Gossip Girl cast member, is never new to the world of Hollywood. Born to actors Elaine and Ernie Lively in Tarzana, California, and the youngest of 5 children, Lively was indeed meant to thread a path in Hollywood belonging to a family that has been involved in the industry herself. However, Blake was not initially set on following her family’s path. Instead of getting involved in showbiz at an early age, she enjoyed a normal life in school.
As a child, Blake was homeschooled. She moved on to attend Burbank High School wherein she became a cheerleader, class president and a member of the National Show Choir. She was set on attending Stanford University until Hollywood fame came knocking at her door.
Blake’s Shot to Fame
Her first taste of Hollywood came when she starred in her father’s film, Sandman in which she portrayed the role of Trixie, the Tooth Fairy at age 11. Her biggest break took place when she bagged the role of Bridget in the teen hit movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, in 2005 opposite other famous young stars, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel. It is said that Blake’s similarity with her character in the film was so obvious that the mere act of turning in her picture already got her the part. Her amazing performance in the movie won her the Teen Choice Award for Best Breakout Actress. The success of the said film led to a sequel that stars the same cast. Lively also starred in a college comedy, Accepted, opposite Justin Long in 2006 and the film, Elvis and Anabelle in 2007 alongside Keith Carradine and Mary Steenburgen.
Gossip Girl Affair with Penn Badgley
Not long after, she got the lead role as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl. This project really cast her name in Hollywood as one of the upcoming stars of the generation. Like a chameleon, Blake was able to transform herself into the complex character she portrays in the show. Gossip Girl also paved the way for her to be reunited with childhood friend and classmate, Penn Badgley, who stars as Dan Humphrey, Serena’s love interest in the teen drama. Their rumored relationship off screen was the headline of all tabloids, but the two initially never confirmed the affair. It was only when a magazine featured photos of them on a vacation together in Mexico that Lively and Badgley came out with their relationship.
Recent Project
Many doors have been opened to Lively because of her Gossip Girl fame. She is set to star in New York, I Love You with Hollywood A-listers, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, and Brett Ratner. The movie is expected to hit theaters late this year.
