In any movie premiere or special event in Hollywood, walking down the famous red carpet has become a tradition. Just recently, the L.A red carpet was filled with stars from the latest vampire-themed movie Eclipse. Stars like Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and their co-stars walked down the red carpet, donned in their designer tuxedos and dresses.
By the end of it, observers gave mixed reviews on what Robert Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen, was wearing during the premiere. The dapper gent actually had a wine-red suit on from Gucci. Now some detractors said that he looked like a student from a religious school who was wearing his uniform. Others said that the color was rather complementary to his hair color. Taylor Lautner, another Twilight hottie, surprisingly wore a Gucci suit, as that of Robert Pattinson. But the handsome werewolf chose a rather dull gray suit for the special event. Many commented that Lautner should have worn a suit of a different color, or designer for the premier, as he looked like he was going to attend a business meeting rather than a Hollywood movie premiere. Nevertheless, the star was still able to make the ladies swoon with his dashing demeanor.
On the other hand, the ladies were successfully stealing the limelight in their chic and classy gowns. From mini dresses to long gowns, halter tops to empire style dresses, Kristen and the rest didn’t fail to look beautiful and ethereal.
Dakota Fanning was one of the main attractions of the night in her Elie Saab cocktail dress. The beige-toned, one shoulder lace cocktail ensemble actually made her look pretty and delicate as it accentuated her pale color and her golden hair shine on the red carpet. Many claimed that the dress suited her age very well and was the prefect choice for her in the premier.
Fellow co-star and Twilight Saga leading lady, Kristen Stewart, also wore a dress from Elie Saab. Alongside Dakota, Kristen did not fail to impress the crowd with her white, one sleeve mini-dress. Kristen, known for wearing dark-hued dresses, showed of her lustrous pale complexion in this asymmetric mini. Critics raved on how ensemble was a refreshing change for the teen star. And with her choice of suede Christian Louboutin pumps, Kristen proved to be a winner in the event.
But it should not take a movie premier invite or a special event for anyone to get inspired in wearing formal clothing.
