if you’ve ever watched a tv news outlet’s take on high school schoolyard fight viedos on the internet, you would think that the world was coming to an end. Seriously, i havent seen newscasters so gravely effected by a story since september 11th. You would think the videos in question involved hanging eyeballs, decapitations, gonad mutilation, etc…
listen im not saying fighting is good..but you only have to watch some of these videos to see that 90 percent of them (and all the ones that ive seen featured in the news stories) involve 15 year olds hugging and rolling/clinching in the grass. the most distrubing thing about these videos is their resemblance to softcore gay porn.
C’mon don’t you think newscasters are taking this too seriously? i mean, a good schoolyard fight has been part of american culture since the days of huck finn/mark twain…and those fights resulted in more damage than todays emo hugfights.

These kids are fighting just to get it on the internet. Its just another move towards violence. Who knows what comes next. A school yard fight is much more innocent than a school kid coming in and blowing everyone up.
The media makes big deals about many things, up until the next thing comes along and then they drop it completly.
exaclty 90% of the fights involve people who have no idea how to fight and end up doing gay porn and the media goes crazy like someone was murdered and then when someone is actually murdered, like gang related, 40% of the time the media dont even cover it.
No I do not think the media is making too much fuss about the Long Island school girl fight! I was just as appalled as they were. What did these girls think they were gonna get for their stupidity? An Oscar? This behavior is deplorable. They weren’t hugging each other they were beating the sh** out of someone younger than them! The audacity they had to videotape it, and put it on the net goes to show they have absolutely no respect for themselves, or the person they assaulted. If their parents are pissed that’s too bad. Maybe they should have raised their kids with some morals. These girls should atleast be sentenced to a juvie facility until they turn 21. If it were a bunch of boys who had done this, that’s exactly what they would get.
