The Model Shop team at LEGOLAND California had a little fun today at General Manager Peter Ronchetti’s expense …the team replaced the GM’s Volvo XC60 with a life-sized LEGO XC90 made of 201076 LEGO bricks. The model was built in 2004 and weighs 2934 pounds. Imagine his surprise when he tried to leave for lunch!

I hope they kept it somewhere afterwards. It’s a pretty big piece and would be nice as a display, Volvo licensing exempting.
The color could have been closer matched. I know they make light blue Legos, but those wouldn’t have matched better. Maybe light grey Legos? As far as I know they don’t make shiny silver Legos, so they couldn’t use those.

A Swedish car (Volvo) is REPLACED with the same car but made out of a Danish invention (Lego)…it was supposed to be a joke. But it turned nasty because these stupid Americans reckless action. Little did they realize this would be hurting people’s feelings… YOU PEOPLE JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND !!!
