@PrettySkitty16 Yay! Good for you and congrats on finishing your first chapter. The best font for writing, at least for me, is verandah. However once you send it to a publisher, they re format your work anyway so it’s really a personal choice =]
Ok just finished my first chapter for my book Wolves in the Mist, i was curious, what font is bast for the book?
@RealDawnMedina You should play up any experience that relates to the topic/readers of your manuscript. For example when I did my first query at 15 I had no credentials but I played up the fact I was in the same age range as my audience therefore I knew how they thought, what they liked to read etc. Does that help?
What do I write for the bio section if I do not have any credentials/writing experience?

I am nineteen-years-old. I have written a memoir entitled, “The Impossible Dreams of Teenagers,” documenting the six-year odyssey of a group of teenagers attempting to make a feature film by the time they graduate high school.
I am currently in the process of searching for a literary agent.
Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated!
The best way to get publishers/agents is getting the Writers Market book, the publish it every year and its has all up to date info in there.
As far as self publishing, I can recommend three great self publishers, iuniverse, author house and you publish
You can look them up on google and there websites will give you all the relevant info. Hope that helps =]

Thanks for asking questions, if you are trying to get any kind of fiction(novel, poetry) published most of the time yes they want what its called a sample chapter you always submit a sample chater with your proposal but with your query letter it depends what the agent/publisher wants.
If you get the Writers Market it will give you all the info on there about what the agent/publisher wants & yes getting an editor to look at your work is a very good idea

thats what I am doing too! I am going to apply to everything I can, but go ahead and start self publishing. I forget the website name, but you can self publish for absolutely FREE, and it goes on Amazon I think. Then if it does well enough online, a publisher may decide to help you! So in the mean time waiting for a publisher, its great to self publish and earn a bit of money;D

School always seemed to get in the way, and so did my short attention span.
Although, lately I’ve been writing about a thousand words a day.
Make yourself write one page a day, just one.
You’d be surprised how easy it is.
the LMP didnt help me…7 rejections an 5 no-responses.
I’m actually taking the self-publishing route now, and then selling copies at a few local bookstores to gain popualarity.

And i really want to finish them but there’s schoolwork and just plain life that has me busy! i can’t seem to find the time… or the patients for it. have any advice?
