Product Description
A Christmas album from Meatwad, the brainless ball of bottom round. You’ll hear classics such as “Santa Left a Booger in my Stocking”, “Hark the Herald Angel Raps” and Master Shake’s holiday pledge “I Sure Hope I Don’t Beat Have to Beat Your Ass (This Christmas)”. “Have Yourself a Meaty Little Christmas” will make the perfect holiday gift…. When I saw a promo for “Have Yourself A Meaty Little Christmas” on Adult Swim, I was optimistically excited. After hearing the album, I can say that it’s a pretty entertaining product chock full of the dry humor I’ve come to expect from the 11 minute show.
The album includes humorous takes on several holiday favorites, but it’s the songs from Meatwad that shine amongst the rest. “Feliz Navidad” starts out innocently enough until Meatwad decides to tinker with the lyrics (thus creating “Meat Navi-Wad”). “Little Drummer Machine Boy” goes from humorous techno keyboard beats to a hilarious all-out Neal Peart-esque drum solo. “All I Want for Christmas is my One Front Tooth” lets us in on the secret behind Meatwad only having one tooth.
The standout song though is “Frosty the Red-Nosed Snowman”, a gut-busting lyrical mess of Frosty and Rudolph, with additional themes like “Mary Had A Little Lamb”, the Batmobile and Lipps Inc’s “Funky Town”. Not to mention Carl trying to time his part right and failing miserably (twice) to very comical effect.
Unfortunately, there are a few songs that aren’t up to par with the rest of the album. Carl’s two “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” songs entice a few laughs, but overall they left me wanting more “Carl Moments”. Also, the album is pretty short. Just 12 songs (13 including the hidden song) that come in at around 37 minutes or so. It would have been nice to see a few more tracks in there, but more may have been too much of a good thing.
These minor qualms aside, the album is sure to make you laugh. Boxy Brown gets to drop some rhymes about Christmas racism, Shake tries to spice up the story of Jesus’ birth, and everyone chimes in for an epic “O Holy Tonight”. If you don’t mind the overall short length, I recommend giving this album a look.

If you like ATHF and you like Christmas music, this is the album for you. I stumbled across it a few days ago on iTunes while I was looking for Christmas albums.
Most of the songs are very funny, but the cover of “Feliz Navidad” is my favorite (and that’s my favorite Christmas song anyway). Also good is “Hark! the Herald Angels Rap,” a song that starts out simply enough, but is quickly highjacked by Meatwad’s buddy Boxy Brown. Shake puts his own spin on the nativity story with “Twas the Night Before Jesus” (who knew that hippies, Voldemort and the Cannonball Run were involved?) And, the folksy blues, “I Sure Hope I Don’t Have To Beat Your Ass This Christmas” is also a stand out.

I recently picked this up after discovering it on a new release rack at Hastings. I’ve been a fan of the ATHF show from around 2003, and figured this might be pretty amusing. As luck would have it, it is! And the $7.99 price tag is a bonus. So, if you’re a ATHF fan and are looking for new ways to spice up your holiday season… Grab yourself a copy of “Have Yourself a Meaty Little Christmas” today!!!
