Maybe, you should have mentioned it a few more times, that the cards were in no particular order at the beginning of the trick. Good grief. Right away, I’m thinking, I bet those cards are in some kinda order.
Sorry, but revealing how a trick is done is just incredibly tacky. It also basically shows why Galea is a successful performer and you’re not. It’s clear from this video that there is no way you could pull of this trick the same way he does.

Litterally only came across this trick yesterday with James Galea’s performance and fell in love with it ‘coz i love “comedy magic” which is what I class this trick as. Just spent the day learning it, and gonna be heading out to meet sum friends in an hour or so, and gonna try it on them. Will let u know the outcome. My name is Paddy btw, and I am from the UK.
