Almost a year ago, Governor Jan Brewer invited President Barack Obama to visit the Arizona border. He declined. Since then, the Federal Government has sued the State of Arizona for making sure immigration laws are enforced. Brewer has been celebrated by many for taking action to enforce laws that Washington has long ignored, those who oppose the law continue to choose pithy punch lines over responsible and pragmatic action. Two days ago in El Paso, President Obama decided once again that Arizona’s unsecured borders and illegal immigration crisis are a laughing matter. Unfortunately, no one in Arizona is laughing.

@niamtxiv The Democratic presidential candidates (Al Gore and John Kerry) were far worse than Bush on border issues. I had to make a choice. However, only Bush and a few other Republicans were for an amnesty. Almost all of the Republican members of the House and Senate opposed an amnesty, whereas almost all of the Democratic members of the House and Senate supported an amnesty. The next Republican president will most likely oppose a general amnesty.

@madhatter0110 You’d have to indict the entire Democrat Party as well as George W. Bush. They’ve all ignored the illegal alien problem as well. And since I’m a Republican and voted for Bush twice, I hate to say that, but it’s the truth.
Millions of immigrants, legal and illegal will depart America for thier home countries for lack of work. If they go now, they have a chance to find a job to survive the crisis. If they stay, there will be nothing for them here and nothing when they return home. This is not a joke or trick. This world economic crisis will happen. This reversal of migration is already under way. But in order to survive, illegals must go now. By the 2020s, illegals will be persona non-grata in the USA.
Obama doesn’t know it yet but he has solved the illegal alien problem. His stimulus package has failed to restore unemployment and the deficit remains 1.5 trillion annually. A coming NATO v Iran/Syria war is dead ahead that will add cost at least 3 trillion more to fight every year. Not even the U.S. can borrow that much money in one year. A dollar melt down is imminent followed by a hyper-inflation depression. Homelessness, chaos, hunger and unemployment will characterize our cities. Cont
