Summer Camps Teens, Ontario There are camps for arts and camps for sports, camps for christians and camps for challenged youth, but when it comes to Summer Camps for Teens in Ontario, there is only one camp that teaches leadership skills that participants use all year round. Bytown Brigantine is dedicated to building character through the adventure of tall ship sail training. In addition to our popular summer youth programs, we offer “weekend-away” training sessions throughout the winter as well as lots of opportunities to volunteer as crew for special events. There are even exciting opportunities to sail in tall ship regattas or to the warm waters of the Caribbean. Our trainees are both young and old take away solid skills, great friends and the confidence to face any life challenge. Many participants return to the program and build their skills through their teens and into adulthood. Bytown Brigantine strives to provide the highest standard of adventure, education and traditional seamanship training in a safe environment. Built as replicas of traditional 18th century brigantines, they are modern in every respect, built of strong materials and carrying the latest in electronic navigation and emergency equipment.
