Sagebrush Celebrates New Outpatient Facility with Open House
McLean, VA (PRWEB) February 03, 2012
Sagebrush drug and alcohol treatment center has launched a new outpatient facility in McLean, making it the first such center in Northern Virginia to offer holistic behavioral health treatment. The new center provides intensive outpatient services, day treatment, aftercare, individual appointments and groups for persons recovering from addictions.
Located at 7921 Jones Branch Drive near Tyson’s Corner, the new facility is spacious, comfortable and provides a nurturing environment in which people can relax and recover. It complements Sagebrush’s 13,000-square-foot inpatient residence in Great Falls, which serves individuals seeking treatment for 30 or more days. Located on five scenic acres, the inpatient facility offers residents personalized attention in a distinctively non-institutional environment.
The new outpatient facility will conduct open houses on Friday, Feb. 10, from 12 to 4 p.m., and on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tours of either facility can be arranged by calling Aimee Spencer, director of business development, at 703-765-3535 or emailing her at aimee(at)sagebrushva(dot)com.
Operating seven days a week, the new McLean site will accommodate a number of therapy groups for those recovering from substance abuse and codependency. Among them are groups for parents and teenagers, a lunchtime group for professionals, a codependency group, and relapse prevention groups.
Treatment at Sagebrush combines traditional approaches, such as the 12-step model, cognitive and behavioral therapies, with holistic methods such as body work, psychodrama, music therapy, and art therapy. Sagebrush employs a team approach that is comprehensive, integrative and customized to each individual’s needs.
