“This is the year to shine — prom dresses are fun and fabulous for 2004,” said Sara Rogers, Mall of America fashion expert. “This is the year for every girl to find the perfect look for her body and style. The designers have really listened to what teens are looking for and it’s all in the stores just waiting to be found.”
Answering the call for a need to provide more choices for prom, Mall of America is home to the brand new all-prom store “Glitz!” where prom dresses have been flying off the racks since late December. “Prom tops the list of important milestones in the lives of teens and they prepare for it like it’s the Oscars,” said Maryanne London, owner of “Glitz!”. “We opened ‘Glitz!’ to provide teens and their families complete prom services from the dress to the accessories — weÂÂve got their look.
