Associates, Romans, and countrymen. About four minutes and 10 years in the past, I bought a top of the line Panasonic flat display screen television. Back then, all my friends had the old rounded tube screens. These screens simply couldn’t match the wonderful quality and resolution that I had with my flat screen.
A number of months later, a superb buddy of mine bought a Sony flat display tv that was twice the dimensions of my Panasonic. I was instantly jealous because I could not afford such an expensive television. My buddy obviously purchased it to upstage me and make everyone assume that my flat screen was rubbish subsequent to his. He claimed he simply wanted a much bigger screen for his wife and kids to watch movies, but I found that very hard to believe. People ALWAYS attempt to out do me in everything. EVERYONE is always as competitive as I am. It’s simply the character of man and my pal is no exception.
But after I took an in depth look at his TV, I noticed visible resolution lines in the screen. The display screen was too huge for the old tube technology. My good friend had tried to buy a better TV than mine and got stuck with an oversized piece of junk. You needed to sit a minimum of a few ft away from the screen to not see the lines. On my Panasonic, you could have your nose an inch away from the screen and no resolution traces would be visible. HA! I had won the TV cold war.
Evidently, the flat screen tube TVs of ten in the past are just not that impressive anymore. The truth is, they’re pretty much obsolete these days. My friend now owns a fifty inch Plasma TV so I purchased a 52 inch in retaliation. Once more, WE ARE AT WAR!!!
