A few weeks ago there was the eurovision song contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway. During the last month up to that, old eurovision songs came to live on the radio, tv, bogs and news pages on the net, the song from way back when there were only one tv channel in Norway and we "all" watched or listened to the contest.
These were the songs of my youth, me growing up and being a teenager.
My friends of the same age have the same music memories, so many memories are connected to these songs when early spring comes around.
The dreams for the future, events that happened and changed my outcome, are often connected in time with these songs. I can say that I do have favorite music I played more often on my taper ecorder. But still, it’s the timeframe that triggers the memories.
The song contest is at the time of the year these flowers grow strong and bloom in the garden.
I guess, looking back, also have grown and "bloomed" in many ways, and some of my dreams and hopes for the future, has come true. Some have not, but I do not feel sad, because that is not who I am today.

Rolling Stone Releases the Best 50 Albums of 2011 List
Rolling Stone magazine released their list of the best albums of 2011 this week. Topping the chart as the number one album of 2011 was Adele with her album 21. Adele released 21 in February 22, 2011. Her apparent smash hit album also won 17 awards as well as 57 nominations. The top tracks of her album included Rolling in the Deep and Someone like You have both been found on Billboards Top 100 hit lists before as well. Coming in as number 50 on Rolling Stone’s list was The Lonely Island with their album Turtleneck and Chain. The Lonely Island is an american comedy troupe made up by Andy Samberg, Kiv Schaffer, and Jorm Taccone. The album Turtleneck and Chain consists of widely popular songs such as I just had Sex featuring Akon, The Creep, and Jack Sparrow.
The List has a wide variety of music types such ranging from the soft piano tempo of Adele’s songs to the bass pounding beats of JayZ. Rolling Stone has the list available on their website for view as well as other music lists ranging from The top 100 Beatles songs to The top 500 albums of all time.
