A niche market is the subset of the market on which a specific product is focusing; therefore the market niche defines the specific product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs. This is the first and most important step in starting your own business online. It is a wise thing to choose a niche that you have great interest in. For instance if you enjoy photography, then you should do some research on camera’s,, their cost, quality ect. It’s a great idea to learn everything there is to know about camera’s. Hint; youtube is a great place to start. When you have chosen what you are most interested in, then this should be your niche.
Do you have a blog?
It is very important that you create your own blog. Just think of a blog as being your virtual online business. You will want to have a special place where you can capture frequent readers and gain thier trust while giving them what they want. A blog is all about the content. just like a good book, you will want to creat great content to entice the readers to return to your blog over and over all the while gaining more and more trust in you as a person who knows what they are talking about.
Do you have a video of yourself on youtube?
Video is a great way to start branding yorself. Record a video of yourself telling your hobbies and interest and explain a little about your niche you have chosen. This is your opportunity to show that you are an expert in your niche and you will begin to gain trust in your followers. Your video is a great way to drive traffic to your blog, so be sure to place a link to your blog below your video. Once your potential customers are directed to your blog, it is very inportant to have a popup set in place to colect their name and email which will automaticly be added to your auto responder.
Do you have a capture page?
A capture page is where you will capture names and emails of people that are interested in hearing more about what you have to say. The better the content is on your blog, the more emails you will be able to capture. In your blog you have told your readers about who you are and what your interest are. The trick is to leave them begging for more content, so in return they join your mailing list through your capture page because they want to hear more of what you have to say.
Do you have an auto responder?
Now that you have used your capture page to capture the information of your readers. Your capture page will automaticly add their name and email into your auto responder. An auto responder is an email system that allows you to send automated emails to your readers. For instance: when a person goes to your capture page and enters their information, thier information is automaticly sent to your auto responder which cues your first letter to be sent to them. You will want to set up an email campaign covering your particular niche where your readers will receive an email from you every few days keeping them interested.
Do you have groups?
Joining facebook is one of the many great ways to advertise your product. Simply go to facebook and create a business account. It’s very important to creat an informative profile. Tell a little about yourself and what your hobbies are. Your best customers are the ones who you build an actual relationship with. Once you have your account setup, place your cursor into the facebook search bar and search for groups with the same interest as you. for instance; if your niche is selling vacations, you may want to enter “vacations” DO NOT PRESS THE ENTER BUTTON. You must click on the magnifying glass to the right of the searchbox. Once you have clicked on the magnifying glass, you will see a list on the left side of the page. Select “groups” and a list of groups will be shown. Now you have discovered one of the many ways to find a targeted audience. Be sure to read each one of the group rules. Some do not allow advertising of any kind. Once you have started joining some groups, open up a new word document and paste the link to each group in a word document for easy access.
