@EastCoast515 To be fair whenever I listen to a cover i always listen to the original to compare, and I still find that this version is better imo. The original was a decent song, but that acoustic guitar and brian’s subtle vocal delivery damn near scared the shit out of me how haunting great this is.
@EastCoast515 I totally agree! Everyone should give Fake Problems a shot and, if possible, see them live. I saw Fake Problems last week and they probably put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen!

People who say this is better than the original just haven’t given Fake Problems a chance yet. They’re a brilliant band and if you like Gaslight you can easily get into FP

Brian Fallon’s (The Gaslight Anthem) renditions of songs are usually better than the original due to the fact he plays it on the acoustic guitar.
@mikenumber35 In a certain light, I totally agree. This song is actually what got me into Fake Problems. I had no idea they existed. And now they surpass Gaslight Anthem, just slightly, as my favorite band.
