Formerly on House of Sits Season 1 Episode 5 “Utah”, On a consulting gig with Utah, Jeannie is put in control when it becomes clear which the racist CEO of a no-frills motel chain will not take Marty seriously; Clyde tries to make inroads having a virginal Mormon woman; Monica decides to expend some quality time with Roscoe after her betrothed boyfriend rejects her, but their parent-son bonding uses a dark turn, leading Roscoe to better understand his mother… and better appreciate their father.
On this week’s show title “Our Descent Into Los Angeles”, Marty goes to war along with his son’s school when Roscoe is accused of sexual harassment for wanting to kiss a boy. On the home entry, Marty’s personal life will be further complicated when May, a stripper he met in New york, suddenly reappears. Meanwhile, Jeannie starts to get cold feet at the prospect of her forthcoming wedding.
House Of Lies is based on the book “House regarding Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Let you know the Time by Martin Kihn” which is a new comedy in which follows management consultant, Marty who doesn’t love to lose and will do anything by employing people and manipulating items to go his way. Jeannie Van Der Hooven, a co-worker of Marty’s, is beside him having a razor-sharp personality to match up Marty’s.
Together they and Marty’s corporate downline, Monica, Jeremiah and Roscoe take what they can a run with the item. House Of Lies can be a half-hour comedy that exercises the boundaries between work and personal relationships inside a cut-throat consultant type involving way.
House of Lies is usually an upcoming American comedy television series manufactured by Matthew Carnahan. The show, which will premiere upon Showtime on January 8, 2012, is based on the book, House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and then Tell You the Time, written by Martin Kihn, a former consultant from Booz Allen Hamilton. It follows a selection of management consultants who stop at nothing to get company deals done, even if it demands extremes.
The show focuses on a team of management consultants from Galweather & Stearn, the #2 ranked management consultancy within the U. S., who are based in Los angeles but take on projects across the world. Their key competitor is Kinsley, the #1 ranked supervision consultancy, whose name is reminiscent of real life top consultancy McKinsey & Firm. The team comprises involving Marty Kaan, presumably the manager, Clyde Oberholdt, an associate, and Jeannie van der Hooven as well as Doug Guggenheim, the two analysts. In a move unlike normal consulting, this team composition remains constant for your entirety of the period, while in most consulting firms teams are assembled on the per project basis.
The series is executive created by Matthew Carnahan, Jessika Borsiczky and Stephen Hopkins, with the pilot written by Carnahan and directed through Hopkins. On December 13, 2010, House of Lies was presented with a pilot order. On April 7, 2011, the series was presented a 12 episode pick-up simply by Showtime. The series is determined by Martin Kihn’s book, House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch then Tell You the Moment.
