On this week’s Instance title “The Killing Moon”, As Quinn distracts Jamie, Haley searches for Nathan. Clay finally gets replies about his condition. Meanwhile, Julian attempts to make contact with a normal life, while Brooke tries to offer Tara (guest-star Chelsea Kane “Dancing with all the Stars”) a likelihood.

When Karen became pregnant during their senior year, she was devastated by Dan’s decision to get his own life and career first. He went off to college over a basketball scholarship, leaving Karen behind to improve their son Lucas on it’s own. When Dan’s dream of any basketball career didn’t determine, he returned to town while using the wife he met with college and his completely new son, Nathan. Now a wealthy businessman and most significant fish in the modest pond of Tree Hillside, Dan lives his golf ball dreams through Nathan.
Lucas and Nathan’s new rivalry don and doff the court has even cut back old emotions for the grizzled basketball coach, Whitey Durham. Whitey coached Nathan’s pops, Dan, when he was this school’s star player, and now he can be coaching both of Dan’s son’s. He knows he is partly liable for Dan’s decision to not stop trying his scholarship when Karen grew to become pregnant, and he has to juggle conflicting responsibilities and loyalties toward each boys.
Years in the making, a deep and bitter conflict slowly unfolds for the reason that two boys struggle to come to terms with who they really are along with a father who has chosen to live on vicariously through one daughter, while ignoring the existence in the other.
