What are some problems a teen will face at school and outside of school for example drugs, fitting in, trying to be popular and stuff like that.

RACISM

Everyone’s life is different, so you tell me.

Becoming a Big fat monster,

bullying, not liking ones appearance, low self esteem, losing friends, gossip, drugs, partying, sex, boyfriends or relationships, break ups etc.., sometimes family issues like divorce or loss, and finally getting into college.

fights, drugs, peer pressure, popularity/geek issues, guys (jerks), suicide, depression, pregnancy

- Puberty
- Periods
- Peer Pressure
- Pregnancy
- Piercings
- Phases
- Depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Sex
- Heartbreak
- Relationships
- Popularity
- School
- Education
- Exams
- Weight
- Fashion
- Arguments
- Hormones

thinking that he/she is fat, not tall enough, not pretty enough, not fun enough, not cool enough, etc etc
and of course sex

It really depends on the person

*feeling that they can’t amount to anything
*not having a significant other at their current moment so they feeling ugly and undesirable
*being misunderstood
*being a loner separated from the general masses
*being depressed
*family troubles
*losing a friend
*when people have a misconception of that teen
*failing school
*self destruction

Pressure to change, pressure to be some who there not basicly. Pressure to smoke, do drugs, partake in some kind of illegal activity. Pressure to have sex, have boyfriends/girl friends. Change appearance ie. wear makeup. Pressure to slim down- for boys buff up. Pressure to either be dumb or be smart. Pressure to show individuality, aswell as show you can be apart of a group. Pressure at home, pressure getting a job, getting the grades you want. Pressure to stay in style, pressure to look good. The list goes on and on..

drugs is not one unless you live under a rock everyone knows the consequences and long term effects are fatal doing drugs is foolish, and being popular is not important, you can’t not fit in there is always the category of ‘everybody else’ people who don’t fit in go in this category.
Main problems for teens are raging hormones and uncontrollable boners, school can be tough at times, the biggest problem can be finding a goal in life and deciding what you want to do for the rest of your life.

FINDING A COLLEGE/ GETTING INTO COLLEGE/ PAYING FOR COLLEGE. UGH.
Peer Pressure
Trying to be yourself while everyone wants you to change
Your mind and body changes… you start to become the person you will be
Staying fit
Keeping friends in all the drama
Making new friends
Moving to new schools (if your parents move alot)
Alcohol
Cigarettes
Drugs
Sexsexsex… especially when you are still a virgin and don’t want to have sex, even though everyone wants you to or has already done it
Parents are a big problem. Sometimes they just don’t get it
Struggling with your beliefs and religion, many times.
Grades
Homework
School
Sucky teachers
Finding free time to do things you like
Getting a job
Money
Driver’s License
Hormones affect people in different ways
Being good at something, whether it’s sports or academic.. but what if you’re not the best at anything?
Feeling boxed in… wanting to get out of the small life you lead
Planning for the future is scary

Just trying to fit in while being yourself. No easy task.
