1 Hurt In Pittsburgh Home Invasion

PITTSBURGH — One man was injured in what police are calling a home invasion in the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

It happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 800 block of Dunster Avenue, police said. (See Map)
The unidentified victim was taken to Mercy Hospital with a head wound, police said.

PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh man has been charged with being the accomplice of another man who was shot and killed when they broke into an apartment.

Reshawn Gibson, 21, is charged with burglary, robbery and conspiracy. According to court papers, Gibson told police he entered the apartment with Shawn Davis, 18, shortly after 3 a.m. Monday.

Davis was shot and killed by a man visiting the residence.

Police are reviewing the case with the Allegheny County District Attorney to determine whether the shooting was justified
